Shield SH-FRC fire resistant cable

A low smoke zero halogen, screened fire performance cable with silicone E12 insulated solid conductors and an aluminium tape bonded to the outer sheath. LPCB approved under certificate 1812d to BS 6387:2013 Category CWZ and EN 50200:2015 Class PH30.

What is inside the sheath

Outer

LSZH sheath, LTS3

Low smoke halogen free thermoplastic. Red or white as standard. The aluminium tape screen is bonded to the inside of the sheath, so stripping the sheath takes the screen with it.

Screen

Aluminium tape & drain wire

A full aluminium tape screen with a tinned copper drain wire gives a high level of data protection on signalling and audio circuits.

Core

Silicone E12 over solid copper

Fire resistant low smoke zero halogen silicone insulation over bare solid copper, with mica tape in the lay-up rather than on the conductors.
